Company History

We are Prijap Biolife Biotechnologies (Pty) Ltd. The company is manufacturing and selling herbal medicine called Prijap Health (PREVEMMUNE and MASHESHA), which was traditionally invented by Mr Japan Mfeka.

He worked as an herbalist for more than eighty (80) years. He lived until the age of 103 years and he told us, the secret formula for his longevity was Prijap Health. He never visited clinics, hospitals and GP rooms.

Our mission is to bring PriJap Health to you and your family so that you can enjoy the benefits of our Indigenous Knowledge Product that Mr Mfeka trusted for so many years.

What We Do

Prijap Health has gone through laboratory testing and is a fast acting, highly effective natural product that provide comprehensive health benefits including immune booster, energy booster, antioxidant (detoxifier), appetite enhancer with anti-inflammatory and anti-viral activity (anecdotal evidence).

The purpose of the enterprise is to affirm our own Indigenous Knowledge System in a modern society; with the aim to contribute in the overall health improvement of our people, by innovating, manufacturing and supply of high quality all-natural herbal medicine; to people seeking alternative medication to allopathic medicine, and to those with compromised immune system and those who want to maintain their quality of life or those who are suffering from non-communicable diseases (the current pandemic).

Our Team

Mr. Prince Msomi has a National Diploma in Biotechnology and he has worked for the SAPS at the Forensic Science Laboratory for thirteen (13) years. He also served as a
laboratory facilitator at Technikon Natal whilst still a student. He has undergone in-house training at
the Forensic Science Laboratory, where he was equipped on subjects such as Genetics and
Molecular Biology. Mr. Msomi has also completed various courses namely ISO 14001:2004
Environmental Management System, ISO 9001:2008 Introduction to Quality Management, ISO
17025 Lab Systems and Auditor, ISO 9001:2008 Internal Auditors and has successfully completed
an Entrepreneurship programme, and HACCP. He has a passion in health Biotechnology and that is
the reason he was interested in this product.

Mr. Mabaso has an Honours Bachelor of Science degree and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Mr. Mabaso has worked for the SAPS at the Forensic Science Laboratory for thirteen (13) years. He also worked as a Liaison Officer for the DNA Database Section. He is passionate about business strategies and the company has given him the role of
….advocating the way forward for the company.

Mr. Lufuno Singo has a B.Sc. degree in Biochemistry & Microbiology and Honours in Biochemistry.
He has worked for the SAPS at the Forensic Science Laboratory for ten (10)
years. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the field of forensic DNA and Digital
Forensics. He has completed various courses such as Total Quality Management, Project
Management and SHEQ Risk Management, Lean Manufacturing and 5S. He is passionate about
application of science into indigenous knowledge and seeing people benefiting from it.

Has been incorporated in the company structure to hold the percentage of the inventor. The inventor agreed that since he was too old, the granddaughter can participate in the running of the company. That brings up two grandchildren who are participating in the company structure.

Jackie Mampane has a BSC degree in Microbiology and Biochemistry, he further holds a National Diploma in Food Technology. He worked for the Forensic Science Laboratory for fourteen and half years.

He worked as a Quality Control Officer in Food Industries such as Bromor Foods, Orley Foods and Marine Oil Refiners in the Western Cape province. He is passionate about marketing and negotiating business deals at Prijap Biolife Biotechnologies.

Mr Japan Sivion Mfeka was the grandfather of Mr Prince Msomi and Ms Nthabiseng Maoko and the inventor of Prijap Health. He had worked in the herbal medicine discipline for over seventy (70) years. He had in-depth knowledge and ages of experience in herbal medicines and their use in the treatment of diseases. Mr Mfeka entrusted this product to Mr Msomi for product development and subsequent business thereof.
